Course Description: Evidence-based medicine is a course that addresses the fundamental and essential issues in the practice of evidence-based medicine for medical students. It is designed to enhance students' abilities in formulating appropriate clinical questions using the PICO model, retrieving sound scientific databases, and critically appraising relevant articles to answer their questions and build appropriate evidence in healthcare settings. It is a seven-week longitudinal course. Interactive lectures, assignments, and computer-based practical exercises are the main learning activities in this course.
