Course Description: A comprehensive exploration of various linguistic issues related to the origins and jurisprudence of the Arabic language, with a particular focus on its phonetics and sources.
Credits: 2
Objectives of the course :

A. Enabling students to understand old issues of the Arabic language, related to its origins and jurisprudence, through critical reading of those issues in their original sources, comparing them with what has emerged in those issues. .
B. Enabling them to understand contemporary problems of the Arabic language. .
c. Enabling them to understand its phonetic system, as described by ancient Arab linguists, with an explanation of the differences between them and modern linguists in describing the articulation and qualities of some sounds. .
d. Informing them about phoneme theory and comparing it with what ancient linguists mentioned. .
