Course Description: The concept of language, media, and media language - Divisions of the article in terms of form - The concept and importance of journalistic investigation - Text characters and their components - Writing for journalism and websites.

Objectives of the course :

The student will learn the importance of using Arabic as a journalistic language in mass communication and avoiding local dialects. The student will learn the concept of a newspaper article, its history, elements, and sections. They will also learn the concept of journalistic investigation and its preparation. Additionally, the student will practice identifying common linguistic errors in various media and how to avoid them in both spoken and written media.

  • The student will learn about the concept of the journalistic article, its history, and its elements, as well as the concept of journalistic investigation and writing television news scripts.
  • To describe the common grammatical errors in the media and their correct forms.
