Evaluation of educational programs

Course Description: The course includes scientific concepts of educational program evaluation, its tools, stages, types, its relationship to standards culture, its objectives, levels, and applications, and the most important modern trends and experiences in its field. It also covers the ability to evaluate programs in light of established standards, compare educational program standards in different countries, explain specific cases of problems arising in educational programs, and train on decision-making regarding specific cases of educational programs.

Explains the different objectives of educational program evaluation and the stages it goes through.
Demonstrates possession of a fundamental understanding of standards culture and its relationship to educational assessment.
Classify the most important evaluation tools for educational programs and plan to use different patterns of them.
It reviews the most important educational experiences and trends in the field of educational assessment.
Standards-based culture is applied in evaluating some educational program practices.
It uses the most important methods of evaluating educational programs to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the institution.
Designs tools to evaluate educational programs, such as evaluating teachers/faculty and evaluating learning outcomes.
