Course Description: This course is an introduction to pediatrics and aims to provide students with an overview of common childhood illnesses and how to manage them while treating associated oral and dental diseases in children. The student will gain the fundamental knowledge that will enable them to meet the needs of their patients with medical problems.

Objectives of the course :

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Understanding blood diseases and their treatments
2. Recognize different cardiovascular diseases and how to manage patients with them
3. Knowledge of gastrointestinal diseases, liver and kidney diseases, endocrine diseases, and precautions to be taken during dental treatment.
4. Description of Nervous System Diseases, Immune System Diseases, and Tumor Diseases
5. Managing Infectious Diseases, Preventive Pediatrics, and Precautions Before and After Treatment
