Course Description: This course establishes scientific knowledge by analyzing jurisprudential texts and developing the cognitive ability to read and comprehend them. It cultivates jurisprudential acumen for understanding and deriving evidence from jurisprudential texts, and for comprehending the implications of the evidence.

Objectives of the course :

The enduring connection of Sharia students to heritage books for analyzing jurisprudential texts and developing the cognitive ability to read and comprehend them.
2. Developing jurisprudential acumen through understanding jurisprudential texts, deriving rulings from them, and comprehending the intended meaning within the evidence.
3. Rely on foundational jurisprudential books that focus on evidence and methods of deduction, and connect the branches to the principles.
4. Refer to jurisprudential issues in detailed fiqh books to clarify what might be unclear due to brevity.
5. Demonstrating the impact of Islam and the Muslim methodology on scientific research by presenting examples that illustrate the scientific movement in Islamic centers throughout the ages, and equipping the student with the skill of utilizing and employing the Islamic and human heritage.

General Introduction: Research Topic and the Importance of its Study, Study Plan.
The department selects texts from books of jurisprudence, such as: the chapter on Jihad from the book "Sharh Muntaha al-Iradat" by Al-Buhuti in Hanbali jurisprudence, the chapter on Usurpation from the book "Al-Mudawanah Al-Kubra" by Imam Malik bin Anas in Maliki jurisprudence, the chapter on Waqf from the book "Al-Mabsut" by Al-Sarakhsi in Hanafi jurisprudence, and the topic of "Indications" from the book "Al-Tawdih" by sadr al-Shari'ah. .
Students discuss the scientific material they've read and connect it to modern times.
Assigning students fiqh research that revolves around the methodology of jurists in composing works within the four schools of thought.
