Course Description: The course covers the concept of thinking and its definitions, types, processes, skills, levels, and characteristics, as well as the importance of teaching and developing it, and its relationship to intelligence and brain theories. It also examines the psychological, philosophical, and social foundations of thinking theories, thinking skills frameworks, and models and programs for its development through the curriculum, as well as obstacles and difficulties faced in learning and teaching it. Furthermore, it addresses local and international programs and experiences for developing thinking, the role of curricula in this regard, and strategies for learning, teaching, and measuring thinking skills. Finally, it covers recent developments in the field, such as knowledge management and thinking, and the use of technology in its development, with practical applications for developing thinking through curricula and models for studies across different disciplines.
