Description:
The Doctor of Science in Endodontics and Endodontics is a highly academic degree in the field of endodontics. The program generally includes advanced academic study in the specialty, four years of intensive clinical training as well as a dissertation. The program focuses on comprehensive learning of the specialty, high clinical standards, and innovative medical research. It aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to meet the needs of society and the labor market. This is done at the main campus of the College of Dentistry and under the direct supervision of faculty members.

يهدف برنامج دكتوراه العلوم في علاج الجذور ولب الأسنان في سنته الأولى الى إستعادة وتعزيز المعرفة المكتسبة من مختلف المجالات المتكاملة للعلوم الأساسية الطبية و طب الأسنان. كما يتم تسليط الضوء على أهمية المفاهيم الأساسية للإحصاء الحيوي وعلاج الجذور وبحوث الأسنان. أيضاً يتم تعزيز المعرفة المكتسبة حول الإطباق و يشمل ذلك التمييز بين الإطباق السليم و المرضى و طرق تصحيح الإطباق. كما يتم تزويد الطلاب بالمعرفة والفهم العميق لأساسيات طب أسنان الأطفال بما في ذلك مبادئ التشخيص ووضع الخطط العلاجية وكيفية توجيه سلوك الطفل والتحكم في الألم.
في السنة الثانية يتم تعريض الطلبة إلى العمل العيادي بشكل أكبر. وتزويدهم بالمعرفة والفهم العميق لتكون جذور الأسنان فى الحالات الطبيعية و المرضية. ومساعدة طالب الدراسات العليا على كيفية التعامل مع الحالات المرضية الخاصة به. كما يتم البدء بإعداد رسالة الدكتوراه بنهاية السنة الثانية.
In the third and fourth year, more emphasis is placed on doctoral dissertation with clinical work to provide students with an in-depth understanding of research in conjunction with clinical work. Students are prepared to participate in research in dentistry and related fields. Students will carry out a large individual research protocol related to a thesis project on an approved topic under the guidance of a team of supervisors. The work presented must be published and make a distinctive contribution to the field in which the student is interested.
