The Master of Science in Plant Production and Protection program aims to qualify national cadres trained to work in the field of plant production and protection who are familiar with the knowledge and skills qualified for scientific research and to support the national labor market in plant production and plant protection with a focus on the scientific and applied aspects related to the production of agricultural crops and their protection from pests and diseases to contribute to sustainable agricultural development, and the program combines advanced theoretical knowledge and modern research skills that qualify graduates to innovate and contribute effectively to the development of the agricultural sector.

1- Researching the production issues of vegetable, fruit, ornamental and field crops and working to increase their production, as well as researching the issue of plant pests and diseases
2- Studying modern methods of environmentally friendly agricultural production and optimal use of water and natural resources
3- Working on the genetic improvement of agricultural crops in the Kingdom
4. Studying storage and transportation issues for agricultural crops
5- Studying safe ways to control pests and minimize the use of pesticides and environmental pollutants
