The Department of Environment and Natural Resources seeks to prepare specialized cadres capable of facing environmental challenges and preserving natural resources for current and future generations. It also aims to raise awareness about environmental issues, conduct valuable research on local ecosystems, and develop sustainable practices to preserve biodiversity. This is in line with the Kingdom's vision to promote environmental sustainability and preservation, which includes strategic objectives to protect the environment, promote sustainable development, and improve the quality of life. By emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship and sustainable resource management, the department's plan works to support the Kingdom's vision by preparing the next generation of environmental leaders, conducting cutting-edge research on environmental issues, and implementing best environmental practices for sustainable development. The department's programs reach out to the local community to raise awareness and promote sustainable living practices by fostering a culture of environmental responsibility and innovation, and to contribute to the Kingdom's efforts to create a more sustainable future for all. Objectives :
1. Emphasizing the quality of education in the department and achieving excellence in the programs offered.
2. Raise the merit, competitiveness and professionalism of students.
3. Promote research identity, innovation, and the development of applied research to meet the requirements of sustainable development.
4. Developing improved management performance and enhancing organizational satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Participate by developing sources of self-financing and completing, developing and sustaining the infrastructure.
