Health management
Description:
The health sector faces many challenges represented by the acute shortage of qualified manpower to manage the high demand for health services in a scientific and studied manner, and here comes the role of this department, which was established by Decision No. 5088/M dated 07/08/1432 AH. This department aims to teach students the necessary skills and information in the field of managing health organizations, overcoming problems and drawing future health plans based on scientific foundations. Graduates receive a bachelor's degree in health administration, which qualifies them to work in the public and private health sector. The health management program is recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, which classifies graduates of the program as health management specialists within the health cadre and their titles in the government health sector are as follows: Hospital Manager Specialist, Assistant Hospital Manager Specialist, Health Center Manager Specialist, Health Center Manager Specialist, Health Center Assistant Manager Specialist.

2- Providing students with the knowledge and intellectual, humanitarian and technical skills needed to effectively and efficiently manage and operate various health institutions.
3- Developing students' knowledge and skills in solving problems, knowledge of human relations and the skills needed to provide specialized administrators in the field of health management.
4- Contributing to improving and raising the efficiency of the performance of health workers through training and continuous education.
5. Work to increase the percentage of Saudization of administrative positions in health services facilities.
6- Developing health research fields and contributing to providing consultations related to the management of health services.
7- Introducing a bridging program for students with an intermediate university degree to obtain a bachelor's degree.
8- Familiarize yourself with the legal and ethical standards related to the health care profession.
