Description:

The health sector faces many challenges represented by the acute shortage of qualified manpower to manage the high demand for health services in a scientific and studied manner, and here comes the role of this department, which was established by Decision No. 5088/M dated 07/08/1432 AH. This department aims to teach students the necessary skills and information in the field of managing health organizations, overcoming problems and drawing future health plans based on scientific foundations. Graduates receive a bachelor's degree in health administration, which qualifies them to work in the public and private health sector. The health management program is recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, which classifies graduates of the program as health management specialists within the health cadre and their titles in the government health sector are as follows: Hospital Manager Specialist, Assistant Hospital Manager Specialist, Health Center Manager Specialist, Health Center Manager Specialist, Health Center Assistant Manager Specialist.
