Overview
It is a rehabilitation medical specialty that focuses on diagnosing and treating disorders of the musculoskeletal system, and rehabilitating patients using natural means such as therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, manual therapy, and physical therapies (such as laser and ultrasound).
Objectives :
The Doctor of Physical Therapy program will help the student to:
1- Acquiring information, concepts, theories and modern techniques in the fields of medicine and physiotherapy in accordance with Islamic values.
2- Developing and utilizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
3- Professional practice in accordance with the laws and ethics of the physiotherapy profession.
4- Participate in research activities and demonstrate the principles of evidence-based practice.
5- Developing the ability for continuous self-learning and effective communication at all levels.
6- Partnership, cooperation and effective communication with various community parties and educational and medical institutions.
