1- The student describes - in depth - the philosophical references and epistemological foundations on which sociology is based in Western thought and the areas of scientific research.
2- Summarize the knowledge production in the fields of sociology and its relevance to his society.
3- Explains the current reality of sociology and its Islamic epistemological grounding at the two levels: The theoretical and methodological levels in a way that enhances the outputs of the research presented in it and links it to values and purposes.
4- Explain the most important trends, philosophical ideas, contemporary research and doctrines in sociology.

1- Evaluates the philosophical references and epistemological foundations of sociology in Western thought and the areas of scientific research therein.
2- Analyze and criticize theoretical and methodological issues in sociology with the aim of developing creative thinking.
