Description:
The Department of Geography was established in 1402 AH, within the departments of the College of Arabic and Social Sciences, and in 1424 AH, the department became part of the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, after the issuance of the Royal Decree No. 7/B/2242 dated 10/5/1424 AH, which merged the branches of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and King Saud University in Qassim under the shadow of one university, the University of Qassim, and the college and department became part of the College of Languages and Humanities The Geography Department at the College of Languages and Humanities has prepared a developed program, B.A. in Geography, that is in line with the local program as well as the standards of the National Commission for Academic Assessment and Accreditation The Department of Geography at the College of Languages and Humanities has prepared a developed program, Bachelor of Science in Geography, which is compatible with the local and international program as well as the standards of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, through which it ensures the quality of programs and administration in the university institutions and their alignment with international standards and the compatibility of their methodology with the objectives of the Kingdom's comprehensive development as well as upgrading the quality of specializations addressed by the programs and their contribution to achieving the requirements of development and the labor market according to the unified Saudi classification of professions.
