Social Work Track

Knowledge and understanding:

P1. Demonstrates a broad and deep range of knowledge and understanding of social and psychological theories and principles related to human life.
P2. Possesses a wide range of specialized knowledge and understanding based on recent developments in the field of social work.
P3. Refreshes knowledge and understanding of processes, procedures, materials, techniques, practices, documents, and terminology in the field of social work.
P4. Describe categories of service and method of inquiry in areas of practice in social work.

Skills:

M1. Applies advanced and integrated concepts, principles, and theories in various contexts to address social issues and convey specialized knowledge, specialized tasks, and complex ideas to a range of audiences.
M2. Employs critical thinking strategies while performing practical tasks and procedures, as well as creative solutions to societal issues in multiple contexts and with the use of appropriate technologies.
M3. Analyzes complex and intertwined issues using theories to understand complex and diverse societal issues using mathematical processes and appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods to process and analyze data.

Values, autonomy and responsibility:

S1. Adheres to professional and humanitarian values, standards and ethics, and reflects responsible citizenship and coexistence with others.

Sociology track

P3. Refreshes knowledge and understanding of processes, procedures, materials, techniques, practices, documents, and terminology in the field of sociology.
P4. Describe the categories of society and mode of practice in areas of practice in the field of sociology.

Skills:

M1. Applies embedded and integrated concepts, principles, and theories in different contexts to address social issues and phenomena, conveying specialized knowledge, skills, and complex ideas to a range of audiences.
M2. Employs critical thinking skills when performing practical tasks and procedures, developing creative solutions to societal issues and concerns in complex and diverse contexts using and adapting advanced technologies.
M3. Practices investigation and research methods to study the complex and diverse needs of society using mathematical operations, quantitative methods, and applications of digital technologies to process and analyze data.
