An Overview

The Diploma Program in Teaching Arabic Language to Non-Native Speakers is one of the programs of the department, which is affiliated with the College of Languages and Humanities at Qassim University, and aims to teach the Arabic language to non-Arabic-speaking grant students in the university's faculties. The number of students in the first semester was (16) students, and the number of admissions began to increase until they exceeded two hundred students in some semesters. At the end of each semester, about (100) students graduate from this program and continue their studies in the university's colleges in all disciplines except health disciplines.

Objectives :

1- Teaching Arabic as a second language.
2- Preparing research and educational competencies and developing specialists in the field of teaching Arabic as a second language.
3- Achieving research and educational quality in the department's various programs.
4- Employing technology and promoting digital transformation in teaching Arabic as a second language.
5- Activating partnership and community service.
