Rased | Rased — The intelligent system for monitoring environmental conditions
IoT × Wearable — Summer of Innovation 2026
A wearable IoT device monitors temperature, air quality, dust, and gases, calculates exposure time and the level of danger for each worker, and displays the situation in real time to the supervisor in red/yellow/green colors and alerts when the danger level rises.
Techniques: Internet of Things, environmental sensors (temperature and humidity, gases, dust), GPS, connection units (Wi-Fi / LoRa / Bluetooth), color-coded monitoring panel.
Team: Jannan al-Ma’iuf, Ranim al-Harawi, Nawf al-Hazl and other members.
Emâaah | EMA'AH — The smart glove for sign language translation
AI × IoT — Innovation Summer 2026
A wearable smart glove picks up hand signals and analyzes them using artificial intelligence, then instantly sends the audio translation to the collar button so the speech comes out directly — making the conversation faster and more spontaneous without carrying a phone.
Techniques: Flex Sensors, IMU/Gyroscope, ESP32/Bluetooth, Edge AI/Machine Learning, Mini Speaker.
The stages: Connecting the sensors and testing the signals ← Collecting samples and training the artificial intelligence model ← Integrating the glove with the speaker brooch.
Marwa — the smart irrigation system for farms
Agricultural IoT — Summer of Innovation 2026
A system that collects and analyzes farm data from sensors placed in representative locations, compares the soil condition and the needs of the plant and the climatic conditions to provide a clear recommendation for irrigation time and quantity — to reduce water waste and transform the farm into a data-driven environment.
Techniques: ESP32 / Arduino, Wi-Fi + Blynk, flow sensor, relay (Relay / Valve), control panel and recommendations.
Team: Fahad Alshalihi, Kareem Barhamim, Abdullah Barhamim, Ryan Alayyan.
Smart IoT System for Real-Time Exercise Monitoring and Posture Correction
IoT × Health — Summer of Innovation 2026
A system based on the Internet of Things uses motion sensors to monitor athletic performance and detect body posture errors in real time, analyzing joint angles and comparing them with the correct position with immediate feedback.
Techniques: Built-in motion sensors (IMU) and measuring belts, ESP32, angle analysis, speed, and repetition count.
Team: Khoula Al Haddlou, Rand Amirini, Rim Al Rashidi — Supervisor: Dr. Jamal Al-Attibi.
Intelligent VR-based Clinical Skill Training: Bridging Virtual and Physical Simulation
