Qassim University seeks to develop, maintain, and enhance its cybersecurity capabilities, protecting it from internal and external cyber risks to counter threats and reduce cyber risks in accordance with the controls of the National Cybersecurity Authority.
The website relies on a set of security standards that ensure the confidentiality of all information displayed, stored, or exchanged with other parties. Among the security mechanisms implemented on the portal are:
1- Certified Digital Certificates: Certified digital certificates from highly reliable entities are applied to ensure secure exchange of all information, where all data sent to and received from the site is encrypted.
2- Encrypting stored information: In addition to encrypting information during transmission and reception, stored information in databases, such as passwords and highly confidential information, is also obscured and encrypted.
Qassim University imposes a high degree of security on all portal equipment and servers in the data center, as the center is equipped with the latest technical means of protection.
