University signs memorandum of cooperation with EYEWA

On Monday, February 16, 2026, the University, represented by the Department of Optometry at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, signed a memorandum of cooperation with Innovative Lenses Company Limited (EYEWA) to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two parties in the fields of education, training, employment, research and community service, in the presence of the University Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahad bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad.

The University was represented by the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Saleh bin Abdulrahman Al-Matroudi, while the company was represented by Dr. Ahmed Yousef Al-Juhani.

The areas of cooperation include theoretical, field and clinical training of students within the offered specialized programs, cooperation in developing curricula and study plans in line with academic objectives and the labor market, in addition to supporting college graduates by providing job opportunities in line with the company's operational needs and required conditions.

The areas of cooperation also include contributing to research and innovation, exchanging and transferring expertise and information, developing technology and systems, as well as contributing to community awareness and events in partnership with the college and the student club.

This memorandum comes within the framework of the university's efforts to provide research, training and community service services in all fields and specializations, as well as to develop human resources academically and professionally, and cooperate with local and international competent authorities in various fields in order to enrich the educational process and provide optimal services to the community.
