His Excellency the President of the University witnesses the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Cloud Computing Company (sccc by stc)

On Sunday, February 1, 2026, His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the university and the Saudi Cloud Computing Company (SCCC by stc), during his patronage of the Digital Transformation Forum, organized by the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology at King Abdulaziz Conference Center in the University City.

The memorandum was signed by the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Waleed bin Saleh Al-Battah, and the company's Chief Operating Officer, Engineer Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Rashoudi.

This memorandum stems from the university's strategic orientation towards promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, supporting the knowledge economy, and actively contributing to the development of the technical and innovative environment: Knowledge transfer and technical capacity building for university employees, cooperation in implementing training programs, workshops and related events, supporting and developing initiatives and projects in the technical field, and contributing to the preparation of competencies in line with future requirements.
