Committee of Deans of Student Affairs at Saudi Universities Discusses the Development of Students' Abilities and Skills at its 27th Meeting at the University of Saudi Arabia

His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharekh, received the deans of student affairs at Saudi universities, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahd bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, during the opening of the 27th meeting of the Committee of Deans of Student Affairs at Saudi Universities, which is hosted by the University at King Abdulaziz Conference Center in the University City.

During the meeting, the university president praised the integration of efforts aimed at developing students' capabilities and enhancing the university activities system in line with Saudi Vision 2030, stressing the importance of cooperation between universities in supporting student initiatives and successful experiences.

The meeting, chaired by the Dean of Student Affairs at Qassim University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan, and attended by 25 deans representing Saudi universities, reviewed a range of developmental topics, experiences and successful student initiatives aimed at developing students' capabilities and building their cognitive, professional and social skills, in order to contribute to the preparation of national cadres capable of competitiveness and innovation, and discussed ways to enhance the sustainability of competencies in student affairs deanships and support national initiatives to develop university student work.

This comes within the framework of the role of universities in preparing qualified and globally competitive national competencies by empowering students with future skills, promoting values and national belonging, and developing a university environment that stimulates creativity and community participation, in support of the objectives of the Human Capacity Development Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
