Qassim University achieved the fourth place at the level of government agencies in the efficiency index of websites and digital content for the year 2025, issued by the Digital Government Authority, during the announcement of the results of the index at the Digital Government Forum, which was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in Riyadh, in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies and Excellencies from various government agencies.
This achievement came after the university achieved 92.31% in the overall index, among the highest performing government entities, which is one of the four main indicators launched by the Authority to measure the performance of government entities and their excellence in implementing national digital standards and achieving advanced levels in the quality of services and digital content.
The university was subjected to the index's criteria, which were based on two main perspectives: Technical Efficiency and Content Quality. The first perspective included the strength of the domain and hosting, website quality, search optimization, digital security, accessibility, availability and compatibility, while the second perspective focused on the added value of content, editorial quality, presentation and design, e-participation, and open data, within a comprehensive methodology aimed at raising the quality of government digital services and websites.
The forum also honored Prof. Dr. Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Bahli, Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology at the university, who received a certificate of excellence in the Digital Government Award for the "Best Digital Leader" category, in recognition of his contribution to enhancing the university's digital transformation journey.
This distinction comes as an extension of the university's efforts to develop its technical infrastructure and e-services, which contributes to improving the experience of beneficiaries and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in the field of digital transformation.
