Briefly
The Department of Plastic Art was created in the College of Arts and Designs after the approval of the comprehensive structure of the university by the Council of University Affairs under the letter of His Excellency the President of the University No. 42088 dated 22/7/1445 AH, to comply with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, which would reduce unemployment rates and localize jobs with distinguished Saudi cadres, so the department seeks to achieve excellence in the quality of the programs offered through academic and research preparation in the field of plastic art at the local and international level. The department employs a number of distinguished faculty members in various fields of plastic arts, and the department grants a bachelor's degree in visual arts.
Objectives :
1- Developing students' knowledge, artistic skills and creative abilities in the field of plastic art.
2- Providing male and female students with research skills according to scientific and methodological principles.
3- Creating an educational and artistic environment that supports creativity and innovation in the field of plastic art.
4- Providing scientific and technical consultations in the fields of plastic art and linking this to scientific, technological and artistic development, locally and internationally.
5- Activating community partnership through knowledge and cultural exchange in the fields of plastic art.
6- Highlighting Saudi culture through the production of creative and contemporary works of art.
