The training program to develop the skills and capabilities of male and female teachers organized by the University, represented by the College of Education, ended the training of the first group of 45 male and female teachers on Thursday, 6/11/1439 H. The program is entitled "Managing the Learning Environment in the Light of Competency-Based Education" and targets 200 male and female teachers for a full month after its launch since last Sunday, which is held under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. The program, which is held under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, aims to develop the educational process and ensure its success, through its new roles that have positive repercussions on the performance of male and female teachers, and comes to activate the role of the university in the field of community service, and to provide teachers with the necessary skills to activate technologies and some appropriate teaching strategies. The themes of the training program vary between introducing the concept of competency-based education, its importance, characteristics, and success factors in the public education system, in addition to diagnosing the reality of the learner and the challenges he faces in the learning environment from the perspective of competency-based education and the concept of differentiated teaching. The Ministry of Education implements these programs as part of the professional development programs for male and female teachers, which the ministry seeks to provide at the highest professional and professional levels, and to provide quality development programs for educational job holders, in accordance with their needs and specializations, and to invest in the summer vacation period and the return of administrative and educational staff, as the courses offer a variety of optional development programs. These programs also provide supportive and stimulating professional learning environments to invest quiet times, and enable those targeted to attend development programs wherever they are during the summer vacation. The total number of registrants in the training programs reached more than 119 thousand teachers across the Kingdom, and the number of training programs reached 4320 various programs for educational job holders according to their professional and scientific specializations.
