The Deanship of Student Affairs announced the opening of application and registration via its website to participate in the activities of the summer club held by the university during the summer vacation period for all categories of youth, for a period of 30 days, starting from Sunday, 17/10/1439 H, in the sports halls of the university city "Al-Malidah", to provide useful and entertaining programs for youth during the summer vacation period, where the deanship offers a discount of 50% for university students and children of its affiliates.
The cultural activities offered by the summer club are varied and include several competitions and developmental courses, most notably the Holy Quran and Sunnah memorization competition, various competitions to select the club's poet, orator, club minstrel and club representative, in addition to several training courses for youth in several fields, including a university life preparation course for high school students and a course to develop self-confidence and self-building.
The training courses offered by the summer club include a course in dictation, a course in improving handwriting, a course in basic skills in English, a swimming course, and a course in mobile phone maintenance, in addition to sports activities and programs such as football league, floor tennis, futsal league, table tennis and bowling. The club also includes a gym, in addition to several social activities such as cellular cooking and various trips within the Qassim region, as well as various entertainment programs, awareness exhibitions and innovations.
For his part, Dr. Ali Al-Aqlaa, Dean of Student Affairs, stressed that the university is interested in providing useful and entertaining activities and programs for students in the Qassim region during the summer vacation period, through several programs that exploit their time and invest it in knowledge and benefit, pointing out that the university is keen to participate in community service throughout the year, especially in activities directed at students who have energy that must be exploited and directed towards acquiring more skills and abilities.
He thanked Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, for his unlimited support for the University's activities, hoping that the program will be useful and serve the youth of the country and the region.
