The university held a session titled "Success Chats"The session was moderated by the General Supervisor of the Media and Communication Center and Head of the Media Committee of the Career Day, Mr. Fahad bin Noumeh, where Mr. Saud Al-Mohammed, Chairman of Saud Al-Mohammed Group, and Mr. Adel Al-Ghamdi, CEO of Yem Technology Company, presented their successful experiences during the session, which was accompanied by a large attendance on both the female and male sides.
"Al-Mohammed" presented the steps of establishing his own project, which is the "Fun Gen Cave" café, whose idea emerged ten years ago from the desire to create a project that keeps pace with the modern changes of youth, and to be distinguished by the product and classification, pointing out that any business is subject to commercial stagnation because it is subject to the issue of supply and demand and this is known to merchants around the world, saying: "Young people must realize this and weigh things appropriately, and it is important to focus on the product, and there are well-known companies whose dynasty has continued from grandfather to sons because of the excellence of their product, and young people must be patient, as I lived in Al-Kafi for 3 years without financial profits."
He explained that the entrepreneur should not think that he will succeed directly and that the first three, four or eight months is his gain and benefit, as our society loves to experiment, and after a period of time, the customers who love the product offered become clear, and this becomes the measure that is important to continue measuring on in raising the percentage of sales.
Al-Mohammed emphasized that Saudi youth are able to overcome difficulties and are competent to work and always win the bet, and this was proven to us at the company despite the lack of time and the many localization and its difficulties, and now we see them as managers of branches, restaurants and cafes, and soon regions and then companies and engage in the training field.
"Al-Mahmid" explained that the "Food Truck" project is a positive project in all respects and gives the young man the freedom to choose the appropriate location and change it and does not pay rent for a store, and this is in line with the financial ability of the young man who wants to start a small project, and this project is far from risks and is a profitable project, calling on companies and businessmen not to invest in this field, and leave it to young people, support them and not compete with them, as this is a source of livelihood for the countrymen and companies can benefit from selling and exporting materials to them.
Mr. Adel Al-Ghamdi, CEO of Yum Technology, spoke about his experience between the private sector, then the government, and then the private sector, saying: Mr. Adel Al-Ghamdi, CEO of Yem Al-Technology, talked about his experience between the private sector, the government sector, and the private sector, saying: "He initially put a special sum of money to feed my family in case I was cut off from any financial income within a year, as my private project has a capital of about 120 thousand riyals, and we had a difficult first 6 months due to the lack of customers coming to us and our work was only introductory, and we worked in creating electronic infrastructure for companies, servers, networks and security systems, and we could not compete with the competition as we were new to the market. The first 3 months went by without any client coming to us at a time when workers' expenses and shop rent were valid and we lived at a loss because the technology business is based on projects and not selling products until we reached the work of parts of the projects and we launched, and it is important for young people to forget and delete the eight-hour shift and think seriously about working 18 hours."
Regarding financial crises, "Al-Ghamdi" revealed that they offer a product and technical solutions, not a product that can be disposed of. As for his start, he confirmed that he initially faced slow completion of projects and the grumbling of some partners who sold their share, adding that he always said and repeated during meetings that the project began to grow and is waiting for the fruit and asked for a 6-month deadline, but the partners refused and the settlement was made by buying their shares in the company.
Al-Ghamdi stressed that the Saudi girl is sometimes more competent than the Saudi young man and has many advantages in the technical side, the most important of which is the application of the Ministry of Labor's agreement to work remotely, which reduces the operational cost of companies and contributes to raising productivity and reduces the cost for the girl by not paying for transportation, especially since the girl has no obligations and is often free at home and is distinguished by her proficiency in maintenance, programming and customer service.
"Al-Ghamdi" called on e-stores not to raise prices and exaggerate them, because this alienates the community from this project, and because the technical field is constantly growing, so the cost decreases day by day, calling on young people to install their stores on the Ministry of Commerce program "Ma'ruf", in addition to registering in the social development that protects them in extreme circumstances such as accidents, by standing with them and when they reach retirement age, a salary is paid to them, and these opportunities must be exploited.
At the end of the session, the head of the media committee, Mr. Fahad bin Nomeh, addressed a message to the attendees not to put job security as a hanger for not working in the private sector and creativity, stressing that the person is the one who actually proves his worthiness for the work he does and age is not an obstacle, pointing out that any company will not abandon anyone who has the required distinctive specifications, asking young people not to hang this hanger to go to the government sector, as the coming period will witness a new term "productivity" according to Vision 2030 and if a person is not productive there will be no need for him.
