The University Projects Department has completed its preparations to receive female students' cars at the university city in Al-Malidah, where about 5655 parking spaces have been prepared as part of the university's efforts following the decision to allow women to drive on 10/10/1439 A.H. The decision is scheduled to be implemented on 10/10/1439 A.H.
The Projects Department continues its field study of the sites of the remaining colleges of the Women's University in the governorates, in order to prepare parking lots in each of them in proportion to the number of female students in each governorate in the region. The Department is currently studying the site of the complex of colleges of science and society in the governorates of Unaiza, Mudhayb, Bada'i and Bakiriyah, in addition to the complex of colleges of Rass and the areas of Tarfiyah, Nabhaniyah, Aqlah Al-Suqur and Dhurayah, and the colleges of the city of Buraidah, in addition to preparing a study hall under construction in Asyah, where the final concept was submitted to specialists for approval of project plans and then proceeding with the implementation of the project.
It is noteworthy that His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, reacted immediately to the Supreme Order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may Allah protect him - issued four months ago on 6 Muharram last year to allow women to drive in accordance with the legal and regulatory controls, as His Excellency directed immediately after the issuance of the Supreme Order to re-plan the parking lots of the female colleges in all women's colleges at the university.
