On Tuesday morning, the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Public Health Sector in Al-Rass Governorate, which requires cooperation between the two parties in providing health awareness programs and community service programs. Dr. Abdullah Al-Ruthai, Dean of the College, and Abdullah Al-Dabani, Director of the Public Health Sector, signed the agreement at the governorate headquarters, in the presence of Mr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Assaf, Governor of Al-Rass.
Following the signing, Mr. Al-Ruthea confirmed that the terms of the agreement include providing a package of health awareness programs and community service programs, with the college assuming full scientific supervision, providing courses and workshops for sector employees, in addition to training students in primary health care centers, while the public health sector will secure the needs and equip the premises to hold the programs, courses and workshops.
He added that this agreement was based on the directives of His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, President of the University, and within the framework of the prior cooperation between the university and the public health sector during the past years, pointing out that this cooperation was crystallized by signing this agreement, which focused on serving the student and the community and creating the appropriate conditions and capabilities to provide health and training programs that all contribute to the benefit of the country and the citizen
