In the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Ali Al-Aqlaa, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Fahd Al-Daleh, the leaders of the student clubs, in addition to more than 500 students and visitors, the university recently concluded the activities and activities of the first university summer club held as part of its participation in the 38th Qassim Summer Festival "Fun and Knowledge" at the Deanship of Community Service in Buraydah.
The closing ceremony began with the final match in the football competition between Bayader Club and Qumam Club, which ended with Bayader winning the first place, then the final match in the volleyball competition between Takatuf Club and Joud Club, which ended with Takatuf Club winning the match and the first place, and the tennis and billiards competitions were concluded.
In his speech during the closing ceremony, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Aqlaa, stressed the university's keenness to implement the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal, Emir of Qassim, to hold these events and programs, including the university's various summer programs, including the summer club, pointing out the great positive impact that these initiatives have on the region and its people.
Al-Aqlaa also praised the great support of His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, President of the University, who encouraged the establishment of this club and gave it all the support and attention, as it is fun, useful and preserves the students' time, as the club offered a number of professional courses that students benefited from during the summer period.
At the end of the ceremony, the winners of the sports and cultural competitions were honored, and gifts were distributed to the participating students and visitors, in addition to honoring the winning clubs in the various competitions.
