The university supervises the camel race at Janadriyah
Media and Communication Center:
As part of the university's participation in the National Heritage and Culture Festival, the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine is supervising the camel races accompanying the festival through a specialized team of veterinary clinics affiliated with the Department of Veterinary Medicine through a well-equipped mobile clinical veterinary clinic
The mobile clinic also conducts a direct clinical examination before announcing the winners of the races to ensure that the requirements for each run are applied, such as determining age groups and others. The mobile clinic also provides many services in a number of locations surrounding the racing areas, and receives other cases that require examination and treatment, most of which are motor injuries, some of which require medium to small operations. The mobile clinic provided 50 cases on the first day of the race, and on the other days it received about 40 cases per day, from the days of the camel race.
