University President signs contracts worth 72 million riyals

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, signed yesterday, Wednesday, the contract for private security guards at the university with Smart Eyes for Security Guards, and the value of the contract was about 48 million riyals for a period of three years.
His Excellency also signed a contract for the replacement and renewal of medium voltage cables in the university city, at a total cost of more than 24 million riyals to be implemented in a period of eighteen months with one of the specialized companies in the field of construction and contracting.
This comes within the framework of the university's endeavor to carry out regular maintenance of all its facilities in order to preserve the university's affiliates and students and ensure that they have distinctive service facilities that suit them and provide a suitable environment that helps them excel and excel in their studies.
For his part, the UQU President stressed on the institutions and companies awarded the contracts to abide by the terms of the contract concluded with the university, adhere to the specifications and standards stipulated, as well as finish the project on time without delay.
In addition, the university signed an agreement with Saudi Telecom Company (STC) in Qassim region to enhance the efficiency of communications and mobile network within the corridors and offices of some buildings and colleges at the university's main campus.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the UQU President by UQU Vice President Dr. Sulaiman Al-Yahya.
