On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharekh, inaugurated the Flag Day Exhibition under the slogan "Banner of Glory", which includes 28 corners and aims to embody the status of the national flag and introduce its meanings and symbols, in the presence of His Excellency the university's vice presidents, affiliates and students in the main lobby of the university city.
The university exhibition included a review of the Flag Day corners that highlight the status and history of the national flag and its timeless symbolism, with its great connotations that indicate unity, justice, strength, growth and prosperity over nearly three centuries, as the flag was a witness to the unification of the Saudi state in all its stages, and the citizens of this homeland took it as a flag of pride.
His Excellency the President of Qassim University emphasized: "Flag Day embodies the values of identity, unity and belonging, and reminds us of the country's march and achievements." He also pointed out the university's keenness to promote awareness of the Saudi flag and its national meanings through this exhibition.
The university was also decorated with flags and plaques in front of the university gate, on both sides of its roads, and in its colleges and facilities. To celebrate and cherish this national occasion.
