His Excellency the President of the University sponsors the "Ataa" program for international students

His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, sponsored the ceremony of the "Ataa" program for international students, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, on Monday evening, November 18, 2024, on the occasion of the International Day for International Students and to activate the International Day for Tolerance, in the presence of His Excellency the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahad bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, and deans of a number of colleges, at the Olympic Sports Complex in the University City.

His Excellency the UQU President viewed the exhibition accompanying the "Ataa" program, which included 13 corners to review the university's efforts towards international students and their university life, as well as the services, programs and activities offered to them through the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Deanship of Admission and Registration, the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, the Intellectual Awareness Unit and the Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers Unit, in addition to 14 corners that showcase the heritage and cultures of peoples for scholarship students.

For his part, the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahad bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, said in his speech: Today is our appointment with "Ataa" in celebration of two international occasions that carry lofty humanitarian messages; the International Day of International Students and the International Day of Tolerance. Our country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is a country that rejects violence and extremism, promotes dialogue between cultures and peoples and mutual human respect, and fights violence and extremism in all its forms.
