On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the University, represented by the Applied College, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Logistics Academy during the activities of the Global Logistics Forum (GLF24), organized by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics and held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may Allah protect him - at the King Abdullah Financial Center in Riyadh.
The memorandum was signed by the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Maiman, and the CEO of the Saudi Logistics Academy, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Abdulkareem, and aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of education and training, exchange experiences between the two sides to provide important community services, and participate in the qualification and training of national cadres.
The memorandum includes cooperation in many fields between the two parties by sharing best practices and experiences in developing national cadres in logistics and supply chains, in addition to enabling graduates of the "Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program" at the Saudi Logistics Academy to complete their studies in e-learning programs at the university.
The areas of cooperation also include providing training for short courses and executive programs for leadership development, with the aim of qualifying and developing national cadres in both parties, through the signing of a separate agreement, as well as exchanging data, information and statistics resulting from the implementation of this memorandum.
