His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Fahd Al-Sharekh, met with His Excellency the Vice Presidents of Saudi universities and representatives of the authorities participating in the "Annual Meeting of the Vice Presidents of Saudi Universities" on Wednesday morning, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Financial and Technical Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Saawi, the Executive Vice President for Empowering Government Entities in the Authority for Efficient Spending and Government Projects, Eng.

The "Annual Meeting of the Vice Presidents of Saudi Universities 2024", hosted by Qassim University, was chaired by His Excellency the Vice President for Financial and Technical Affairs, and included a review of a number of successful models and practices, and a discussion on developing administrative and financial performance, raising spending efficiency, funding opportunities for university projects, unifying joint efforts and enhancing cooperation between universities to achieve the goals of Vision 2030, at the conference center in the University City.

The meeting also aims to exchange expertise and experiences between universities, where a number of universities' experiences in smart university cities, governance, and modern archiving systems are reviewed, in addition to the participation of the Spending Efficiency and Government Projects Authority with a number of models and experiences that promote spending efficiency and improve the quality of projects, assets and facilities within universities, in addition to the participation of the University Higher Education Fund, where ways to finance university projects were reviewed to enable universities to fulfill their role in line with development requirements and achieve their national goals.
