His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, sponsored the graduation ceremony of the twentieth batch of students of Qassim University, which was held on Sunday morning, June 4, 2023, in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, and members of the University Council, in the main lobby of the University City.

In his speech during the ceremony, HH the Emir of the region expressed his happiness to share the graduates of Qassim University on this occasion: What can I say and express? I could not help but share with this group of male and female graduates from the country's sons and daughters, whom we cherish and their feelings of joy, just as we cherish the achievements of our young university, which shines for us every day with a new achievement.

His Highness praised the graduation ceremony's diverse and qualitative programs that included many humanitarian touches, the presence of a student and her mother, and the many different paragraphs of the joyful ceremony, noting his admiration for the university's graduating students, saying: "He wished more progress, prosperity and great joy, through which he recalled the memories of the moments of academic joy, especially for a group of loyal sons of the nation.

For his part, the UQU President congratulated the graduates of the twentieth batch of the university, saying: "Yesterday you were celebrating your admission to the university, and today the university celebrates you and is proud of your achievement, so you have my sincere congratulations and blessings. You have spent years in university, filled with diligence and diligence, during which you gained knowledge and skills, and practiced activities and experiences, until you achieved what you wanted, so be a good and effective role model in your community, be one with your rulers, and beware of bad people, including evil promoters, tamers and inciters against your country and your rulers, as you are the backbone of this country's development and upliftment.

Al-Dawood thanked His Highness the Emir of the region for his presence and participation in this precious occasion as a sponsor, supporter and motivator, and said: "We appreciate with pride and pride your participation in our joy and the joy of your graduates, as they are happy to honor their graduation and excellence, and they promise to be a good and blessed building block in the development of their country, with pride and pride, so congratulations to them with your presence, and congratulations to you."

The UQU President also congratulated the fathers and mothers of the graduates, saying: I congratulate you on these children, the fruit of your cultivation and education. You share your joy and congratulations with them, and they reciprocate it, looking forward to serving their religion, their country and their rulers, so I thank you for your good education and your continuous support until you achieved what you aimed for.

His Excellency praised the efforts of the university affiliates, faculty members and employees, which bore fruit, thanks to Allah, and then through their distinguished efforts, and were reflected in the advancement of the university, which made it achieve many achievements at the local and international levels in the fields of education, research, administration, technology and finance.

Al-Dawood emphasized that what the attendees witnessed in the presentation of the university's achievements is a clear evidence of the unlimited support that the university receives from our wise leadership, and prayed to Allah Almighty to protect our dear homeland with victory and empowerment over every tampering, promoter, envious and envious.

After that, His Excellency the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Fahad bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, said: The total number of male and female graduates reached 12,755, including 4708 male and 8047 female students, distributed among the following degrees: 220 in the PhD degree in 23 programs, 714 in the master's degree in 99 programs, 10,896 graduates in the bachelor's degree in 121 programs, and 925 students in 34 programs.

Al-Ahmad added to the graduates: "Graduates, graduates of the twentieth class, you are the head of the second decade at Qassim University, you have a wide horizon, and a bright future with your arms, so make it, and start the journey of construction and complete the march by diligence, training and continuing education, and wander through the country, as you have a homeland that exceeds the borders of the earth and reaches space, so fly with your dreams and ambitions, as your country hopes a lot from you and you are worthy of giving, and be one hand under your wise leadership, and do not be mind robbers from spiteful people and poison merchants from corrupt people," he added.    

Then a number of graduates spoke on behalf of their colleagues at the ceremony, saying: "My university, you lofty entity, our great scientific edifice, we have in each of your chapters a story, and in each of your paths a journey and a goal, you were our home and our dwelling place, we lived in you the flower of life, and we stepped in your footsteps the greatest impact, distinguished professors and sincere educators, whose habit is encouragement and talent making, and their characteristic is endurance for the sake of achieving the desired goal. Our hearts are full of wishes, our minds are overflowing with words, and our tongues are full of prayers that the Lord will perpetuate our country's glory and honor, make us faithful servants, and help us and strengthen us to repay the debt and make it easy and easy for us.

The ceremony included the royal peace, then the march of the graduates, the Holy Quran, a visual presentation of the university's achievements during the year, a paragraph entitled A Journey of Success for the university's graduates, and a number of ambitious stories were presented, in addition to honoring the university students who obtained a 5 out of 5 average. Tomorrow, Monday, the university will witness the ceremony for the students of the main headquarters, the College of Medical Rehabilitation, the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, and on Tuesday, the ceremony for the female students of the rest of the governorates of the region, in the main lobby of the university city, will be held.
