His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim Region, inaugurated today, Monday, March 20, 2023, the activities of the "Technical Career Day" organized by Qassim University for two days, in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, and the participation of 40 entities in the lobby of the main headquarters at the University City.
His Highness the Emir of Qassim, accompanied by Their Excellencies and the University Vice Presidents, toured a number of corners participating in the activities of the Career Day following the opening of the forum, and reviewed the content of the pavilions of the participating companies and entities from the public and private sectors, as this event is a platform for recruitment, introducing the activities of these companies, reviewing job opportunities, applying for them by job seekers and conducting personal interviews, in addition to the event contains workshops for job seekers to empower them and prepare them to enter the labor market.
The University and the Ministry seek through the organization of the Technical Career Day, which comes as one of the programs of the Future Skills Initiative provided by the Ministry, to introduce the participating companies, offer job opportunities and conduct personal interviews, in addition to holding workshops for job seekers and guidance sessions, with the participation of 40 entities, 6 guidance sessions, and 8 workshops, as an extension of the University and the Ministry's keenness to empower national cadres and contribute to bridging the gap between supply and demand according to the requirements of the labor market with the participation of employment partners from various sectors to benefit from the support provided by the University and the Future Skills Initiative of the Ministry of Communication
