The university signed a joint cooperation agreement with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises on the sidelines of its participation in the "Bipan 23" forum, where the university was represented by Prof. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, and Mr. Saud bin Khalid Al-Sabhan, Deputy Governor for Entrepreneurship, represented the authority.

This agreement aims to establish a set of university startup initiative programs at the university, as well as spread awareness of entrepreneurship, in addition to enabling students and university affiliates to transform their entrepreneurial ideas into existing projects by taking advantage of the initiative's programs, incubators and accelerators.
