The activities of the Summer Club at Qassim University were launched in its fifth consecutive year inside the university's sports halls, where the club's activities and events continue for more than 30 days under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, to invest the summer vacation period and the free time of students in developing their talents and cultural, sports, scientific and other skills, as an extension of the university's efforts to contribute to achieving the goals and objectives of the Human Capacity Development Program by offering the summer club during the summer vacation in its new form.
The club's activities for this year include a number of in-person and virtual programs, targeting ages from the first grade of primary school to university students, where participants were divided into four categories; primary (buds and boys), middle (cubs), high school and university (youth), where registration is still available for those wishing to participate in these activities and competitions from the people of the region.
The university's summer club offers various activities in a variety of fields, including sports, which include competitions (football, futsal, bowling, swimming, fitness hall, soap court, table tennis, floor tennis, billiards, and hockey). The cultural aspect includes several competitions and developmental courses, most notably courses in English, French, Japanese, and learning robotics design and programming, which aim to develop the capabilities and basic and future skills of the beneficiaries.
The club's programs also include various competitions and competitions for memorizing the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah, in addition to virtual programs and courses, an oasis for poetry and drawing in all its forms, and the development of national heritage.
For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan, said: He noted the role of the university in activating the energies of all youth groups, including the supervisors, who are more than 90% of the club's employees who are on the verge of graduation, wishing that these efforts will be crowned with success and success for all employees.
