On Tuesday, 9/10/1443 A.H., the university signed two agreements of cooperation and understanding with the National Center for e-Learning, where His Excellency the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sharekh, and the Director General, Dr. Abdullah Al-Walidi, signed on the sidelines of the university's participation in the International Education Conference and Exhibition in Riyadh, on the sidelines of the university's participation in the International Education Conference and Exhibition.
The agreement aims to harmonize the university's programs with the professional certificates of the "Makin" initiative, and develop cooperation between the two parties in the field of e-learning and training, and professional development, as the center offers the "Makin" initiative to university students enrolled in programs related to e-learning and training in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enable them to obtain professional certificates (foundation level) issued by the center to enhance human capacity development according to the changing work requirements to achieve excellence in performance, which will reflect positively on raising confidence in the practices of e-learning and e-training entities.
The university also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Prince Sultan Center for Defense Studies and Research with the aim of cooperating in the fields of research development and consultations. The university was represented by the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Al-Turki, and the Director General of the Center, Dr. Sami Al-Hamidi, to enhance joint cooperation between the two parties, where the areas of joint cooperation include developing research and studies in the fields of specialization for both parties, as well as designing and providing training programs and human resources development, and cooperating in cooperative training for distinguished students.
