The idea of "Nasiyah" project by UQU students Riam Al-Suwail from the College of Medical Rehabilitation and Noura Al-Nassar from the College of Computing won among the top 15 innovative ideas that reached the finals of the "Idea Bus" challenge organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at) at the level of the Kingdom's universities, with the support and follow-up of the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university for the two students who are members of the central clubs at the deanship.
The idea of "Nasiya" project is based on an application coupled with a mobile device with the patient to solve the issue of forgetfulness and solve the resulting issues. The project won the first place at the level of the Qassim region during the Ideas Bus Tour in the region, which was hosted by the university last October, where the idea of the project was to integrate between physical therapy and technology to increase the outputs of physical therapy clinics in the Kingdom and increase the efficiency of treatment and raise the level of patient satisfaction.
The "Ideas Bus" challenge, in which nearly 43,000 students from various universities participated in its tours, is one of the initiatives of university startups to spread and promote the culture of entrepreneurship in universities, as well as activate their role in the entrepreneurship system and create investable ideas and businesses, in addition to connecting ideas and projects with investors, including participants in the programs offered by the Authority, increasing awareness of investors' requirements, and motivating youth through various means of communication
