The university, represented by the Deanship of Community Service, launched the Umrah program for the families of martyrs of duty, as part of the university's initiative to activate the campaign of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the region, "I am a Saudi who is proud of my identity".
The program was launched at the main headquarters of the University City, in the presence of His Excellency the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sharekh, and His Excellency the Dean of Community Service, Prof. Dr. Fahad Al-Daleh, who bid farewell to the 38 Umrah beneficiaries from 10 families.
The campaign was launched on Wednesday, 22/7/1443 AH, and continued until yesterday, Saturday, 7/25/1443 AH, and included accommodation in a pre-arranged five-star hotel with three meals and the preparation of the necessary permits to perform Umrah.
This program comes within the framework of the university's keenness to serve the community and appreciate the sacrifices made by the heroes of the homeland who died defending it, by supporting their families and relatives to raise their morale, develop a sense of patriotism and deepen loyalty and belonging to the country.
