In a new achievement in terms of digital transformation, the university ranked among the top 10 out of 371 government entities in the overall ranking announced by the Digital Government Authority (DGA) in the "Government Services Monitor" system, for the best entities that contributed to improving the overall maturity index of all government digital services.
The Government Services Observatory is a tool to assess the level of digitization, inventory services and their maturity levels, transform them from traditional to electronic services, raise their level of digital maturity, and then publish the information of government services on the National Portal for e-Government Transactions (Saudi).
According to its performance in the overall sectoral maturity index, the university ascended to the green category "Integrated Service", which is the best measure the university has achieved since the beginning of its journey towards digital transformation, according to the 2021 report issued by the Government Services Observatory (Marsad).
This achievement represents a milestone in the success of the university's approach to achieving digital government services, and a remarkable development compared to previous measurements, based on the directives of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, and His Excellency the Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, to continue to make continuous progress that reflects positively on the quality of services provided by the university.
Through digital transformation, the university aims to raise the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries on the one hand, and raise the level of competitiveness on the other hand, in order to achieve the requirements of performance improvement in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
