The university, represented by the Sheikh Ali Al-Qaraawi Chair of Quran and its Sciences, will hold an online scientific conference entitled "Modern Studies in Quranic Text Interpretation" starting tomorrow, Tuesday, 4/4/1443 A.H. The two-day conference will be held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University.
The conference aims to highlight the role of the university represented by the Sheikh Al-Qaraawi Chair in enriching Quranic studies, explaining the characteristics of the Quranic text and the trends of interpretation in its interpretation, in addition to clarifying the limits of interpretation by reason and the resulting interpretations, evaluating contemporary readings in the interpretation of the Quranic text, and revealing the impact of modern theories and scientific discoveries in the interpretation of the Quranic text.
