His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, received two awards from His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim Region, during his patronage on Wednesday of the ceremony honoring the winners of the first and second editions of the Qassim Excellence and Creativity Award, in the presence of Their Highnesses Princes, Excellencies and Ministers.
The university won the Moderation Development and Dissemination Award for Governmental Institutions in its first session, in recognition of the university's excellence in the field of initiatives aimed at promoting the values of moderation and disseminating moderate thought and rejecting extremism and deviant ideas, as the university has hosted many events and conferences that address deviant thought and work to spread the values of moderation and moderation.
His Excellency the President of the University also received from His Highness the Emir of the Region, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Award, the Emiratization Award in the field of Emiratization in government institutions in the first session, for the efforts exerted by the University in the field of Emiratization and opening the way for the distinguished sons and daughters of the country.
The Qassim Award for Excellence and Creativity, founded and sponsored by His Highness the Emir of Qassim, aims to instill tolerant Islamic values and ideals, as well as participate in achieving the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, promote the values of belonging and good citizenship and preventive immunization of society against suspicious intellectual currents and national security threats, in addition to integrating national efforts in developing moderation, spreading moderation, rejecting extremism and terrorism, adopting and embracing the culture of excellence and creativity, caring for the creative and outstanding in the various fields of the award, and encouraging sectors and institutions to adopt Saudization programs to employ Saudis.
