Today, Sunday, 4/3/1443 A.H., the University, represented by the Office of Alumni Affairs and Professional Development, in cooperation with the Vice Deanship of Human Resources for Professional Development, will host the "Tuwaiq 1000" camp, which is one of the largest technical camps, as part of the LaunchKSA initiative, launched by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, which will last for 4 months as the largest technical launch in the Middle East.
The university's hosting of Camp Tuwaiq 1000 comes as part of its national role and its academic, educational and community mission to qualify the nation's youth and provide them with the necessary skills and capabilities. It also comes as an advanced step to invest human minds from the energies of young men and women to advance the nation globally and achieve the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
The camp, which is hosted by the university and lasts for 3 months and ends with employment, aims to qualify young male and female graduates of computer science faculties in Qassim in the latest technical fields, where male and female students will be trained on advanced technologies in programming and artificial intelligence by experts in the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, in cooperation with Google.
