His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, praised the achievements of the university, stressing that he is aware of all the achievements of the university and the achievements it is witnessing, expressing his happiness with these achievements, which are not strange to the university under the leadership of His Excellency the President of the university and its employees, saying that he is proud of what the university achieves in international organizations and educational bodies.
 
This came during his speech at the university's celebration on the occasion of the 91st National Day, which was held on Monday, 19/2/1443 AH, in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood and His Excellency the university vice presidents and deans of colleges and supporting deanships, in the main lobby of the university city. 
 
His Highness pointed out that there can be no achievement unless there is stable security in which the citizen participates, as he is the first security man, adding that when adhering to the state regulations and participating in social security, and avoiding stirring public opinion, as security and stability are the basis for the development of this country, he added that the National Day is that we firmly believe in the importance of the homeland first and last, and we are all one Saudi family that joins hands and cooperates on the achievement, extending his thanks to UQU President and its employees for celebrating this day that embodies the unity of hearts and sensing the blessings that we live in.
 
For his part, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, President of Qassim University, stressed that the occasion of the National Day is dear and dear to us all, on which we celebrate our homeland on its 91st glorious day, praising and thanking God for the security, safety, growth and prosperity, and wise leadership; so that our dear kingdom remains, God willing, as long as life remains. Since its foundations were laid by King Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God have mercy on him, and his sons continued the march after him, until our prosperous era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, assisted by His Highness the Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect them both, we have been repeating "It is our home".
 
Al-Dawood urged the university students to feel this important historical dimension of their homeland, to know the reality of this prosperity, growth and prosperity that they live on this pure land, and to preserve its gains and seek to defend it and raise its status locally and globally, saying: We are beginning to see the results of the clear vision that our country is pursuing with a thoughtful balance, relying - after God - on the directives of our wise leadership, and the minds, efforts and gifts of the sons and daughters of the country; here are the state agencies achieving advanced positions at all levels.
 
The UQU President explained that the successes achieved by our wise government in dealing with the Corona pandemic are a present proof of the wisdom and wisdom of our leadership in managing this crisis to control this pandemic, and the sacrifices made by the men and women of this generous nation, all of which were the reason - after God's favor - for our superiority over advanced countries towards controlling this pandemic, and the daily statistics are a witness to this excellence and wisdom.

He added that the university also won the e-government award at the level of the Kingdom, and entered many international rankings that exceed 15 international rankings. The university is the second university in the Kingdom in terms of the number of accredited educational programs, with twenty-three nationally accredited programs, sixteen international programs, in addition to twenty-eight programs under accreditation, and the university has many international programmatic recognitions and accreditations from American and European international bodies, and many international and local achievements exceeding thirty-five international and local achievements, some of which were achieved by students' hands.
 
Al-Dawood stressed that these achievements would not have been possible without the grace of Allah, then the unlimited support that the university receives from our wise government, His Highness the Emir of Qassim, His Highness the Deputy Emir, His Highness the Minister of Education, and the efforts of the success makers from male and female colleagues in their respective locations, offering thanks to His Highness the Emir of Qassim for his honor, support, and continuous encouragement. He thanked the organizing committee of the ceremony led by His Excellency the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, and all the committee members representing the different departments of the university, asking Allah Almighty to protect this country, its leadership and its people from all evil and harm, and to maintain the blessing of security and safety, and to give victory to our soldiers, have mercy on their dead, and heal their wounded.
 
The university ceremony included several paragraphs, which began with the playing of the royal salute, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then the ceremony's paragraphs began with a national poem, a national operetta, and a visual presentation produced by the General Administration of Media and Communication, which tells the journey of education from khatibs to distance learning in the Kingdom, and at the end of the ceremony, HH The Amir honored former deans of colleges and deanships whose mandate period ended, and then participated in the Saudi Arabian dance.
 
His Highness also inaugurated the accompanying student exhibition, and toured inside its corners, which contain 17 panels (corner) that tell the history of the first, second and third Saudi state, and the most important achievements of the kings of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from its establishment until today, in addition to a presentation of the most prominent aspects of Vision 2030, the most prominent Saudi projects, the Kingdom's efforts in facing the Corona pandemic, as well as the exhibition devoted a corner to the digital transformation of the Kingdom and the most prominent applications, another corner for the university efforts with scholarship students, the Kingdom's efforts in serving the pilgrims, and the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to Qassim region, in addition to a special participation by the Disabled Club for people with disabilities.
 
After that, His Highness visited the exhibition of the Deanship of Community Service at the university and launched the Qassim University initiative to activate the campaign launched by His Highness under the slogan "I am a Saudi, I am proud of my identity", where the university initiative includes 60 diverse programs including: 20 programs for national values and 20 for the Arabic language, including 20 for popular events. His Highness launched a number of qualitative initiatives. The first initiative is the Umrah program for the families of martyrs of duty in the Qassim region; the second initiative is Qassim Walks, a program that promotes the culture of personal sports among all segments of society; the third initiative is the football league between government departments in the Qassim region; this initiative targets youth mobility in the Qassim region under the umbrella of sports; the fourth initiative is Consultations and courses, an initiative to respond to the needs of all government departments of qualitative courses and provide legal consultations.
