UQU College of Medicine graduates achieve 98% in the results of the Saudi license to practice exams from the Health Specialties Commission

The University_ represented by the College of Medicine_ achieved a jump in the success rates in the Saudi Professional Practice License tests from the Health Specialties Authority, as the Authority's dashboards recently indicated that the college's rate reached 98% in 2020, after it was 91% in 2019, and continued its excellence during the first quarter of 2021 at 98% by comparing with the average results of medical colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amrou, explained that the college has held a number of workshops for college graduates and interactive lectures, in which all scientific departments and their heads participated, in order to develop their scientific and practical skills and help them develop them in a way that contributes to passing the exams of the Commission with excellence, pointing out that the college is preparing to implement its updated curriculum after its approval by the concerned authorities, which is consistent with the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the current needs of the doctor.

He explained that the modernization of the college's curriculum involved a large number of faculty members, students, graduates, and representatives of entities concerned with the college's graduates through discussion sessions to know the finer details to build a realistic curriculum that contributes to the graduation of qualified doctors who contribute to the development of the health system and provide qualified national competencies to participate effectively in the Kingdom's health system.
