His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may Allah protect them - on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the launch of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

His Excellency said: "The progress and success that the Kingdom is experiencing is the result of the great efforts made by the wise leadership to make Saudi Arabia first, and the condition of standing in the ranks of developed countries can only be achieved according to a highly transparent planning and implementation system and follow-up. Perhaps what has been achieved during the past five years gives a strong indication that the success was not by chance but came through mature strategic planning that shortened the time and helped achieve the exemplary transformation enjoyed by all who live on the soil of this dear homeland. This was contributed by the sons and daughters of the Kingdom, who were characterized by a great awareness that investment in minds is the best way to progress and advancement.

The strategic transformation of the performance of all sectors has taken shape after five years of the vision's life, and the Kingdom has kept pace with the latest global trends in performance and results, as evidenced by the high capacity, distinctive stability and remarkable success with which state agencies have dealt with the difficult changes that the world is going through today.

His Excellency pointed out that the education sector is one of the important sectors that have received support and support from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and that the past five years have gained the education sector in general and the university sector in particular many competitive advantages that emphasized the importance of flexibility in dealing with changes, quality education, promoting research and innovation, and increasing the contribution to community service. It also emphasized restructuring in line with the typical requirements of university education that give Saudi universities a competitive advantage with the finest universities in the world.

As a result of the indicators and achievements achieved, and as a contribution to advancing the wheel of achievement and maintaining the momentum required to continue reforms and implement programs to achieve the vision, the university - in addition to its previous efforts - is activating all its human, material and moral capabilities to continue achieving the vision and implementing programs, plans and initiatives that foresee a bright future for a great nation.

He added that all the gains would not have been achieved without the grace of God Almighty, and then the great support enjoyed by everyone from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them - as they do everything in their power to keep our country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, first. May God protect this dear country, its wise leadership and its loyal people and make it full of progress, success and prosperity.
