His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Qassim University and the Intellectual Security Enhancement Program at the Emirate of Qassim, in the presence of Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, and Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Wazzan, Undersecretary of the Emirate of Qassim.
His Highness blessed the signing of this memorandum, stressing the importance of partnerships between effective development entities that contribute to enhancing the security of the homeland and rooting intellectual security in the hearts of its children by immunizing them and preventing them from deviations.
The agreement, signed by His Excellency the Emirate's Vice President for Security Affairs, Major General Dr. Nayef Al-Marwani, and His Excellency the University's Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Al-Turki, aims to activate cooperation between Qassim University and the intellectual security program in the Emirate through the exchange of experiences in the field of education and community service programs, to promote the principle of loyalty and belonging to the country and its leaders among all members of society.
The MoU also aims to protect and immunize young people from intellectual deviations in all their forms and forms, support events and activities related to the program to enhance intellectual security, and encourage researchers from faculty members and postgraduate students at the university to carry out research related to intellectual security issues.
